Class Styles


Movement offers a wide variety of instruction and class styles. Our classes are non-religious and non-sequenced. We love to let our teachers share their creative style along with their deep knowledge for functional and balanced practices. We want you to avoid overuse injuries as well as reaching physical plateaus that's why we make it a point to shake things up!

Non-sequenced classes allow you to continually feel and see your body as you put in time, love and energy. Classes involve more than just the postures, they are about how you feel and creating community. All of our classes are open to everyone, unless specified with pre-requisites (i.e. Advanced Arm Balances)

We recommend committing to 2 classes a week to experience the benefits of a regular practice. Find your movement with yoga and a weekly fitness class will help you build mobility, additional strength and tone. Each description below pours out a level and focus of the class specifically.

Levels: Starter - Intermediate - Advanced




Level: Starter
Focus: Foundations + Alignment

Learn the basics of Hatha and Vinyasa flow that incorporate a range of foundational movements. Each class will focus on certain movements and will target specific areas such as hips and balance, back, twisting and more.



Level: Intermediate
Focus: Mobility + Flexibility

This class is performed with the room temperature set at 28 - 32 degrees. Come prepared to sweat and stretch in sequences to awaken that inner warrior.



Level: All Levels

Focus: Connective Tissue + Flexibility + Rest This slow-paced style of yoga connects with asanas (postures) that are held for longer periods of time—for beginners, it may range from 45 seconds to two minutes; more advanced practitioners may stay in one asana for five minutes or more. This class also uses pillows, blankets and bolsters to support your practice.


Yoga for Stiffs

Level: Starter
Focus: Chronically tight muscles + Mobility + Routine Maintenance

This class will provide sustainability in your career whether you work trades, administrative, health care and beyond. Find relief from tension pain, chronically tight spots like the forearms, shoulders and low back and more.


Deep Release Yin

Level: All Levels
Focus: Unwind + Fascia + Thai Yoga Bliss Massage

Soothe your body with some Deep Release Yin. This class will help you unwind with seated and reclined postures and long, deep holds to unwind, increase circulation, and encourage flexibility. Find peace with light adjustments, and massage with essential oils.


Level: All Levels
Focus: Strength + Flexibility + Endurance

This all-levels class is for students looking to find more endurance and mobility. Jump into this flow and find your focus on muscles that will help create a sustainable practice that can be used to improve your daily motion.



Level: All Levels
Focus: Passive Stretching + Gentle Practice + Stress Relief

Provide your body that physical and mental balance to prevent stress and anxiety, through the use of props that allow you to hold poses longer, giving you all the benefits of deep, passive stretching.


Yoga with Assists

Level: Starter to Intermediate
Focus: Posture + Deconstruction + Aid

Proper alignment and knowing where to activate for your body is key to a great yoga practice and sometimes assists are an integral part of achieving things you had never thought possible. This class will have small sequences where the teacher will provide posture adjustments and knowledge for students to practice in any class or at home.


Yoga Sculpt

Level: All Levels
Focus: Strength + Tone

Delve into resistance training and light cardio to get the best of all training methods. Ideal if you want to focus on strength and toning key parts of the body. Perfect for those who need more movement and a music beat to help you through the class.




Barefoot Bootcamp

Level: All Levels
Focus: Tone + Strengthen + Weight Loss

Find elements of barre, cardio intervals, calisthenics & weight training on the mat to provide a full-body workout. Great for those looking to ramp up their fitness game.


Pound Fit

Level: All Levels Focus: Not Your Regular Workout + Stamina + Weight Loss + Cardio

Using Ripstix®, lightly weighteddrumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND transformsdrumming into an incredibly effective way of working out.

Kickboxing challenges cardio capacity in a functional training and technique based kickboxing class that will improve strength, flexibility and coordination. Students are required to bring their own gloves and wear comfortable clothing to move in.


Kids Kickboxing

Geared towards creating a focus on coordination, agility, speed, and strength. Our youth classes are fun, innovate and great for kids looking to try something new! Students are required to bring their own gloves and wear comfortable clothing to move in.
