Pre-Natal Yoga with Ro

Come breathe, flow and stretch with your baby. Build up a sweat as you strengthen your body. Enjoy a stretch as you create space and find release. Find some relaxation through meditation and breathing. Pregnant women in all stages of pregnancy are welcomed. No previous yoga experience is required.

Prenatal yoga links postures (asana) and breathing exercises (pranayama) to create awareness of your own mind, body and spirit, and the spirit of your baby. Because of this, prenatal yoga is ideal preparation for the birth of your baby.

Yoga postures during pregnancy can strengthen the uterus and pelvic muscles, improve circulation, aid digestion, exercise the spinal column, relieve fatigue and tension and revitalize the internal organs. Yoga can also alleviate many of the common discomforts of pregnancy such as nausea, constipation, varicose veins, swelling, back pain and sciatica.


*Mamas are welcome to have their partners practice yoga alongside them in any of our prenatal classes. Please have your partner register a spot. Please note class packages are not transferable or shareable.

Get outdoors with yoga practice, a mini hike and fire ceremony followed by s'mores to end the day at Elements Luxury Tented Camp & Nature Spa.

Each participant will be given a few items to be used during the ceremony.

Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather including snow pants, mitts that are waterproof, winter jacket etc.

Snowshoes are permitted but won't be needed if you have warm boots.

Snowshoes can also be rented (for free!) via the Renfrew Recreation Centre for 24-48 hours if you live within the town.


*This workshop is non-refundable instead a makeup date will be made if there is crazy weather*
